We’ve been here in NC for about a month now (we like it lots!) and things are going well. I’ve met my new oncologist and like her very much, but I’ve not been able to get my scans or Zometa yet (not even a flu shot!) because of stoopid insurance stuff. Sigh. Well, at least we will be covered again in the next week, but still!

Hi Sarah,
You most likely will not remember me, but I’ve been reading your posts off and on for years now. I used to go by the name “Sunny South” on the old wedding boards where you were a moderator. I remember following so much of your life.
I remember the posts about Sonic and fried pickles, your Sony Cybershot camera, your m/c(s), painting your nursery orchid (was that right)? I remember a dog getting hit by a car (do I recall that correctly?) And I remember you getting a new puppy.
I remember when you were pregnant with the boys and how over-the-moon you and Tom were. I also remember the photos you used to post when you planted your garden.
I’m so happy to read that you are cancer-free and moving forward with your life. I hope you and Tom come to love NC.
Thank you for taking so many of us along on this journey with you.
